did DART for 3 years in a one car HH- Walked from my home to Arapaho station (bus too unreliable and could often get there faster by walking) to City Place then bus or walk to my office in Oak Lawn. Lived in Chicago for 17+ years and commuted someway, every work day. Funny these people who find you quaint don't seem to "get" public transportation! Chapeau to you for giving it a go!
